It's possible, when you are trying to install a app or module, it may not work or get installed? are you wondering why? you tried downloading and installing the same app several times, expecting it to give app is installed message, but luck didn't favour, hmm disappointing isn't it? and ha it can be frustrating, you may even feel what the heck? especially when the same app that you're trying to install is available in some other different rom or device, but not getting installed in the one you want to use it, don't worry it's common problem, to fix it though there are number of workarounds or we may call solutions, but before we get into them, let us first discuss why do we face this issue in first place on any Android devices.

The problem here is the apps that you're trying to install are probably from a different rom like miui, hios, one ui, stock firmwares or custom roms like cr droid, lineage os, project matrix etc that you may be trying to install on evolution x or any other rom, isn't it? or you may be installing a specific root app or Magisk module that provide options and features of particular stock or custom rom features for specific stock rom or all aosp based roms isn't it? like for example you may be trying to install MIUI screen recoding app or magisk module on a different stock or custom rom, but at the end neither app or magisk module not getting installed or doesn't seem to work right? well i was in same situation as you, after roaming around on internet to find proper fix for this issue, eventually i figured out root cause, that I'll share now.

Ok, here is it, the reason why those apps or magisk modules are not getting installed or not working is because either they don't have signature or has different signature which is not accepted by your current rom, yeah Android only accept those apps to work which have valid signature, it won't install any apps or modules if
they doesn't have signature or has different signature than the supported ones, for example : let's say you have a miui rom, when you extract a specific miui based app from it, then you uninstall and install it again, it will be installed as that miui rom you're using has the valid signature of it, but if you try to install that extracted miui app on any other different stock or custom rom, it won't be installed, because they will verify and don't accept other rom signatures to work on them, mainly due to rom integrity and security reasons, gotcha?

In sense, Android verifies whatever signatures before getting installed or added into it, if those signatures are not in it's list, then they won't be verified, thus they won't get installed or work, unless you add support for those signatures in rom, or make Android install any apps or modules without signature verification, basically in simple you have to disable signature verification or make your rom install different signatures without any check ups, if you do that then you're good to go, but wait in order to do those manually, you need expertise and it takes a lot of time, who actually go through all the hassle right? yeah in that case you at least need Magisk rooted Android device with LSPosed and CorePatch module, they'll not only does the job but provide many more super cool useful extra features to level up your Android device usage, so do you like it? are you interested in them? if yes then let's explore more.
